dice2026 is an IIW Inspired Regional Event in Copenhagen, co-hosted by Idura and IIW Foundation.

This will be the 4th Digital Identity unConference Europe event, which began in 2023 in Zurich.

The schedule will follow that of past events. We’ll start the afternoon of the 22nd with a ½ day European-focused identity program with speakers and panels followed by 2 days of Open Space unConference on the 23rd and 24th.

We’ll meet at the light & spacious Trifolium event space in Copenhagen.

EUDI Wallet rollout by governments is happening in 2026

Interoperability between wallets within the EU ecosystem and beyond the European ecosystem

Non-government ecosystems of identity are getting ever more relevant

Improving privacy compared to existing solutions (e.g. for age verification)

Aligning technical specifications, business models, and ecosystem requirements for verifiable credentials your budget

Digital Sovereignty/National Security: that does not depend on non-European/non-domestic platforms/technology etc.

All Identity topics are welcome! While there is lots of attention on wallets at this point in the industry evolution, this Open Space unConference is not “only about wallets”, any digital identity topic can be put forward as a Session.

22 June 2026 - Kick-Off: ½ Day European-Focused Digital Identity Program

The event will commence with a European Focused Digital Identity Program on the afternoon of June 22. This program will explore the current state of digital identity in Europe through insightful presentations and engaging panel discussions, focusing on local and regional challenges, opportunities, and innovations.

23-24 June 2026: A 2-Day IIW Inspired™ Open Space unConference

Open Space UnConferences are particularly generative: with a professional facilitator, we will co-create the agenda live each day of the event. There are no keynotes or panels, it’s all about exploring the topic with professional peers from a range of identity areas
